Responsibilities
- Ensures all patients in assigned area receive quality and comprehensive care.
- Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care throughout the continuum of care.
- Guarantees proper documentation (Orders and Authorizations) are available and correct for each individual patient.
- Serves as a clinical resource for care management.
- Provides expert nursing care which includes direct clinical practice, consultation, education and research.
- Directs patient/family education and services to ensure the delivery of high quality care in the most family-centered, efficient and economical manner.
- Communicates with all members of the team on behalf of the patient.
- Collaborates with the management team to plan, implement, evaluate and document staff development related to patient/family education and quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience in Patient Care as a Registered Nurse in the acute care setting required.
- Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of nursing theory, practices, techniques, procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of the principles of supervising staff.
- Planning and organizing nursing care, applying advanced nursing clinical skills, maintaining records and charts, and preparing written reports.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay

Work Schedule: 7:50am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
