RN Nurse Manager - Peri Anesthesia and GI Lab

About the role

This is a full-time leadership position working directly with physicians, Perioperative management team, staff and business office to ensure all aspects of PreOp, Same Day Surgery (SDS), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and GI Lab meet and exceed standards. Collaborates with the Business Manager to manage and maintain PreOp, SDS, PACU, and GI Lab billing system. Performs ongoing analysis, monitoring and strategy development. Responds proactively to changes that could affect organizational performance and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with physicians, Perioperative management team, staff and business office to ensure all aspects of PreOp, Same Day Surgery (SDS), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and GI Lab meet and exceed standards.
• Collaborates with the Business Manager to manage and maintain PreOp, SDS, PACU, and GI Lab billing system.
• Performs ongoing analysis, monitoring and strategy development.
• Responds proactively to changes that could affect organizational performance and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• California Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 5 years of Healthcare management-leadership required, preferably including 3 years recent experience in Perioperative services.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's Degree in Related field

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
