RN Nurse Manager - Orthopedics/Neuro

Job Summary Responsible for developing, managing, and implementing nursing and patient care activities within assigned areas. Collaborates with the nursing team to support organizational initiatives, improve systems, ensure financial oversight, and integrate performance improvement strategies. Works with hospital departments to promote nursing practice standardization, service line development, and operational efficiency. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and fosters transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accountability. Responsibilities Develops and enhances care delivery models to improve patient, family, employee, and provider satisfaction.Ensures adherence to nursing practice acts, professional standards, and regulatory compliance.Promotes transparency, collaboration, and accountability across teams.Improves nursing practice quality and effectiveness of service delivery.Optimizes resource allocation to achieve organizational objectives.Leads a multidisciplinary team providing competent, efficient, and compassionate care in a professional environment. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 3 years in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.Bachelor's degree preferred.Knowledge of healthcare issues, trends, legal compliance, and managed care, especially in nursing operations.RN licensure required; specialty certification and additional training preferred.
