About the role

Leads clinical, operational, and financial activities to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient workflows, and regulatory compliance. Manages staffing, budgets, and performance. Fosters collaboration with physicians and teams, drives patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Identifies the clinical and professional development needs of nursing staff, plans and provides education in area of expertise.
• Develops and provides educational programs and conferences for staff, other departments, and community.
• Plans, and implements quality improvement programs for both clinical education and environment of care.
• Works with staff to identify interventions needed to successfully implement workflow changes.
• Reviews patient and staff data to measure the effectiveness of patient care.
• Works with senior leadership, interdisciplinary teams and other stakeholders in order to develop, implement and evaluate programs and services in align with the system.
• Addresses issues to promote a productive and supportive work environment.
• Maintains clinical and non-clinical guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
• Promotes and maintains safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provides assistance from other health care professionals within the system and from regulatory agencies.
• Protects patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
• Maintains and works among the health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
