RN Nurse Manager - ICU

About the role

The Nurse Manager of our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This is a full-time leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of multiple nursing units and/or FTE's over 80 on a 24 hour basis.
• Fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position.
• Deliver care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics).
• Participate in related continuing education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor's in progress.
• Certified California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NNR) - if employed in L&D, NICU, Nursery, or Postpartum upon hire.
• 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred Nursing Management experience.
• Strong background working as a RN in Critical Care.

$74.54 - $117.65 The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
