About the role
The role is a full-time leadership position within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This is a Magnet®-designated hospital known for excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality nursing care and manage multiple nursing units and/or FTE's over 80 on a 24-hour basis.
- Administer all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position.
- Participate in related continuing education for the assigned age-specific patient population (infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor's in progress in Nursing.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- NNR for employees in L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum upon hire.
- 3 years of recent clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Strong background working as a RN in Critical Care.
