Role Overview

Provides unit-based leadership in a healthcare setting, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care. Supervises nursing and ancillary personnel, promoting positive patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.

• Manages staffing based on patient acuity

• Maintains operational safety and cleanliness of the unit

Qualifications & Skills

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree in nursing, RN licensure, and supervisory experience
• PREFERRED: Certifications include BLS and clinical specialty or nursing administration
• Demonstrates leadership, assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient safety, quality improvement, and staff management
