About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of direct patient care, utilizing the established nursing standards of care and evidence-based nursing practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, the RN strives to support a patient-centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of and the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care according to established nursing standards of care and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Collaborate with all members of the health-care team to support a patient-centered culture.
  • Gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of and the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC.
  • Exercise independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days of hire.
