RN - NICU / PRN

About the Role

This PRN position in the Neonatal ICU involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care across departments and maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in the NICU setting
• Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and rights

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or with a compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with prolonged standing and walking
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
• Additional unit-specific certifications as required
