RN - NICU/Pediatric Transport

About the role

The Pediatric Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Transport Nurse provides critical care during ground transport of neonatal and pediatric patients up to 18 years old. Collaborating closely with MDs, ARNPs, and RTs, you will ensure the highest quality of patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities include maintaining clinical judgment, demonstrating problem-solving skills, and showing flexibility and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care during patient transport
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members
• Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic setting
• Apply strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Washington RN license upon hire
• Certification in BLS, PALS, and NRP from recognized organizations
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
