$10,000 sign-on bonus with a 24-month commitment for external applicants with at least three years of experience and a BSN. FTE: 1.0, shift: Day.

About the Role

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) functions independently using the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate nursing functions across the lifespan. The RN collaborates with patients, families, physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), patient care staff, leadership, and community partners. Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to deliver optimal patient functioning and health.
• Independently triages patients in person, via telephone, and through secure messages using protocols, guidelines, and standards.
• Applies critical thinking skills to make decisions regarding patient care, integrating relevant standards, resources, and data.
• Uses assessment and analysis skills to deliver medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
• Delegates selected patient care functions to others based on education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Collaborates with the clinic team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and stewardship.
• Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the healthcare team.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care, promoting autonomy, dignity, and health for patients from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or obtained within five years of hire (RNs with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education).
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on clinic site.
• Two years of experience as an RN in a clinic setting preferred (candidates with less experience may be considered for the Transition to Practice Program).

Pay

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $45.62 - $65.66 USD per hour, influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on years of experience.
