About the role
Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is a Magnet Hospital, offering world-class healthcare. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides comprehensive care for ill neonates and extremely low birth weight infants.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates
- Implement and monitor patient care plans
- Administer medication and treatments
- Absess and coordinate patients' discharge plans
- Maintain and communicate patient condition
- Coordinate care among various healthcare disciplines
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- One year of experience in an acute care hospital setting OR licensed military RN experience
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Adult ICU or Medical/Surgical experience
- NICU experience
Skills
Knowledge of neonatal care, ability to follow Standard Precautions, and proficiency in personal protective equipment usage.

Pay
Pay Range: Minimum hourly $35.50, Maximum hourly $55.60
Schedule
Nights + on-call shifts from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., with weekend and holiday requirements.
