Department Overview
Mother/Baby Unit Patient Population: Mother-Baby with occasional GYN surgery patients. Patient Ratios: 1:3 couplets (1:6). Number of Beds: 20 beds (can expand up to 25). Department Specifics: >90% BSN rate, >35% certification rate, 96% for Press Ganey HCSHPS customer satisfaction, active Unit partnership council, IBCLC lactation support 7 days a week, Texas 10 steps certified, On-site OB-GYN, hospitalists, and Neonatology (MD or NNP) 24/7.

Qualifications
- A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
- Min of 3 yrs. Mother Baby RN experience
- A valid Registered Nurse license
- The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment

Full Time Nights, 13 weeks contract, 3/12 hr. shifts, 6:45pm - 7:15am
