RN MedSurg/Tele ICU - Full Time Nights

Position Summary: The Clinical Staff Nurse is a registered nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an intensive care setting. Key Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, and intervention; recognize subtle clinical changes; provide age-appropriate care; foster therapeutic relationships; communicate effectively with SBAR; document care thoroughly; coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning; evaluate intervention outcomes; supervise ancillary staff; ensure a safe, clean environment; participate in quality improvement initiatives; assist with orientation and training; support patient hygiene and daily activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum one year of clinical or Med/Surg/Telemetry experience; valid California RN license; Basic EKG competence; critical care or surgical nursing certifications preferred; bilingual skills and computer proficiency are advantageous. Skills & Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CPI within 90 days; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to adapt care to patient needs and assist in staff development. Additional duties include: supporting hospital values, participating in performance improvement, and assisting in unit setup and training activities.
