Assignment Duration: 13-week contract position
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team on the night shift. The unit consists of 36 beds with a staff of 69, including RNs and Patient Care Technicians.
Schedule
7 PM - 7 AM, with weekend shifts required (2 shifts per month)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care and responses in the EMR (Meditech)
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Flexible schedule preferred
