RN Medical Unit Part Time Days

About the role

RN's working on the Medical Unit 4S will care for adults and geriatric patients with progressive/intermediate acuity. This 10-bed unit is a fast-paced environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training. Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care (professional nursing care)
• Collaborate with colleagues and members of the health care team
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing services
• Utilize resources wisely
• Serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being
• Educate patients and their families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Develop care plans based on patient needs
• Perform ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families
• Exercise competency in judgment, decision-making, and implementation of nursing interventions
• Delegate functions or responsibilities as appropriate

Requirements

• Current RN license required
• Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)

Schedule

Part‑time days: three 12‑hour shifts over a two‑week pay period (7 am to 7 pm), with rotating weekends.
