About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Collaborates across disciplines for coordination, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support. Educates patients and families tailored to their needs and delegates tasks effectively, potentially precepting students and new staff.
Responsibilities
- Develops and evaluates patient care plans
- Monitors patient conditions and documents communication
- Ensures comprehensive care coordination
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and works collaboratively
- Adapts care to patient needs
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 6 months nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Relevant state licensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Critical thinking and decisive judgment
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
