About the role
The position involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to enhance care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Engages in professional development, completes required education, and maintains certifications.
- Communicates effectively, provides feedback, resolves conflicts, and delegates tasks appropriately.
- Maintains a safe environment, evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, and takes corrective actions as necessary.
- Works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Performs physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Skills

- Proficiency in operating computer functions.

Pay
$38.20 - $57.30 per hour.
