RN Med/Tele

About the Role

We are searching for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Tele unit at Atwood 4, a 47-bed medical telemetry nursing unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The patient population includes individuals with multiple medical problems such as sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI's, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease. The goal of Atwood 4 is to provide comprehensive and collaborative patient care to optimize quality of life and deliver excellence in patient satisfaction.

Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent (required).
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Three (3) months of experience (preferred).
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 per hour.
