About the role
West 3 - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Department at Everett Hospital with Cambridge Health Alliance is a 35 bed unit for patients with general and complete medical and surgical needs, often serving those with serious health issues. The unit includes 5 private rooms, 2 respiratory isolation rooms and a hemodialysis tandem room with 2 bays. Skilled and compassionate nursing staff take care of approximately 25 patients each day including an expert Hospitalist Team.
Responsibilities
- Comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients
- Provide quality care to patients in an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care
- Communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively
- Implement core measures as indicated
- Report directly to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager or off shift manager
Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
- Current or conditional MA RN Licensure
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips preferred
- Minimum of 2 years current Med/Surg nursing experience preferred

Pay
Experienced Med/Surg/Tele RNs may be eligible for up to $20,000 in bonuses (pro-rated for part-time). The final offer may vary within the listed Pay Range, based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
