About the role
We are searching for a talented RN for the Med/Surg-Tele unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Moran 3 is a 20-bed ICU step-down unit specializing primarily in pulmonary care and chronic pulmonary diseases. We also have a fast-paced 10-bed observation unit specializing in cardiac and neurological rule-out patients. The unit cares for patients with multiple comorbidities, including DKA, vented/chronic trach patients, a-fib, COPD, and stroke patients. Our team is tight-knit, focusing on collaboration to deliver exceptional care.
Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Evening/Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with weekend and holiday rotation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
- Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three (3) months of experience is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption.

Pay
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 – USD $77.81 per hour.
Schedule
- Every other weekend rotation.
- Every other holiday rotation.
