About the role
Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a 29-bed unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, quality care.
Responsibilities
- Performs patient assessments and develops and implements individualized care plans.
- Documents nursing activities accurately and ensures adherence to safety protocols.
- Administers medications using the 5 Rights and responds promptly to patient needs.
- Delegates tasks to healthcare team members and verifies completion.
- Maintains effective communication within the healthcare team to promote coordination and patient safety.
- Offers constructive feedback to peers and complies with departmental competencies and documentation standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
