About the Role

Join Cache Valley Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a highly-skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical Unit. You will provide direct patient care, develop individualized care plans through assessment and planning, and collaborate with patients, families, and physicians. This role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism under pressure, and participation in process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Deliver care in collaboration with the patient/family, considering developmental, cultural, and age-specific differences.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, including problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition and diagnostic study results.
• Perform nursing duties across the continuum of care for all patients.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
• Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
