About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the RN promotes professional nursing by coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate care in the assigned unit.
- Analyze medical history, diagnostic results, and current status to develop individualized care plans.
- Prepare nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments.
- Reconcile medical records for accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust interventions to meet care goals.
- Collaborate with the care team for effective planning.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience; clinical specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross or AHA.
