RN - Med/Surg - Day/Night Shift

Role Overview This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the assigned setting, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires delivering high-quality care through critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate practices, while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. The nurse performs general duties, patient education, and prioritization, and may assist with procedures and technical services. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.Administer prescribed medications knowledgeably.Provide age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.Utilize nursing knowledge to perform treatments and services.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-effective resource management.Prioritize patient safety and minimize risks.Commit to ongoing professional learning and development. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Computer literacy required; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS are preferred.
