About the role
Lutheran Hospital's 4D Medical-Surgical & Telemetry Unit seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a collaborative team providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge. The role involves assisting fellow caregivers, interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and educating patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patients' conditions.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
- Offer healthcare education as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience. Military RN experience will be considered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Skills
Nurses in this role should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to handle stressful situations and work rotating shifts.

Pay
Minimum hourly: $35.50
Maximum hourly: $55.60
Schedule
Rotating days/nights from 7:00 p.m. — 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. — 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
