Patient-to-Nurse Ratios Non-COVID patients: Typically 4:1, maximum 5:1COVID patients: Typically 2:1, maximum 3:1 Clinical Responsibilities Provide nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policies.Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.Participate in staff meetings.Assist with flu immunization clinics when assigned.Float to other departments when qualified and competent; assignments may involve patient care or task-oriented support.
