RN - Maternal Child Health Per Diem - Day, Evening and Night Shifts

About the Role

Registered Nurse with inpatient experience, providing care in women’s and children’s services, including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, Pediatrics, NICU, and PICU.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Assume responsibility for patient outcomes
• Supervise unlicensed staff
• Promote safety and high-quality patient experiences
• Provide compassionate nursing care across diverse patient populations
• Maintain clinical standards
• Lead team members
• Contribute to positive safety and patient outcomes

Requirements

• Valid Illinois RN license
• BSN preferred
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• At least 2 years of recent hospital experience in relevant specialties
