RN Manager PACU

Job Summary

The Manager PACU assists the director with the operations of the department. Ensures patient care is provided according to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Oversees orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department. Provides input to the director regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed by the department. Maintains 24 hour accountability for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of activities and services of the assigned unit.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Must hold a current license from the Georgia Board of Nursing or Compact State License required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required at time of hire
• 2+ years RN experience in ICU or PACU experience required
• 2+ years Charge Nurse experience preferred
