About the Role

Responsible for creating a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment by supervising nursing and ancillary staff on a designated unit. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality care, patient safety, and satisfaction. Leads daily operations, coordinates staffing, and promotes a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs staff activities, recruits skilled professionals, and manages performance evaluations.
• Establishes standards of care, monitors outcomes through audits, and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Conducts rounds, coordinates care plans, and addresses operational and patient care issues.
• Maintains appropriate staffing levels, manages schedules, and oversees patient throughput.
• Promotes patient safety by preventing complications and ensuring equipment and facility safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent; Master's preferred.
• Current RN licensure; BLS certification required.
• Preferred: 5+ years of clinical experience, 1+ year of leadership, and experience in acute care.
