RN Manager Neuro ICU and CCU

Job Summary

The Manager Neuro ICU and CCU has the direct-line responsibility for day-to-day operations and overall responsibility for the nursing department, ensuring employees have effective management, good communication, and appropriate discipline. They also ensure charge nurses fulfill their responsibilities as front-line supervisors and coordinate patient care, administrative, and nursing activities on a 24-hour basis.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required with 1+ year nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting required
• BSN required; MSN preferred
