About the role
Seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee nursing activities, workflow, and resources within assigned units.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Hiring, training, supervising, developing, and evaluating nursing staff.
- Addressing issues impacting patient care and implementing policies for efficient service delivery.
- Monitoring and managing budgets, expenditures, and purchases.
- Maintaining safety and performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- At least two years of registered nurse experience with leadership responsibilities or one year of RN experience plus leadership experience.
- Physical ability for frequent lifting, sitting, standing, walking, and other movements, including handling objects up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in vision, hearing, speech, and data entry.
- Current professional licenses including BLS and RN certification in the respective state.
