About the role

The Nurse Manager oversees the FMS Department, including LDRP, Nursery, antepartum, gynecology, and outpatient testing, ensuring quality patient care and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interprets policies, manages personnel, supplies, and facilities
• Develops unit standards aligned with treatment goals
• Staffing, evaluating, disciplining, and forecasting future needs through annual objectives and adapting to changing patient demands
• Reviewing data, improving department performance, handling grievances, conducting educational programs, and coordinating with other hospital units
• Conducting patient rounds, maintaining records, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, safety, and infection control standards

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree
• Five years of nursing experience
• Knowledge of nursing practices, project management, fiscal management, EMTALA, and emergency nursing
