About the Role

The Manager Breast Care Center coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Women’s Diagnostic Center, including supervising Mammographers, Sonographers, and support staff. The Manager is involved in budgetary aspects of the Department, including Personnel, Operational, and Capital budgets. The role includes performing imaging exams on patients while delivering measurable quality and productivity, maintaining strong relationships with Radiologists, and ensuring compliance with all required state and federal registries and ACR accreditations.

• Ensure the department provides the highest level of patient satisfaction and cultivates a warm culture with high staff engagement.
• Ensure staff have the equipment and supplies needed to perform their jobs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Joint Commission Standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mammographers, Sonographers, and support staff.
• Oversee budgetary aspects, including Personnel, Operational, and Capital budgets.
• Perform imaging exams on patients with a focus on quality and productivity.
• Maintain relationships with Radiologists and ensure compliance with state, federal, and ACR accreditation requirements.
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
• Ensure departmental adherence to Joint Commission Standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited AMA Program with a Certificate or Degree in Radiology.
• Must maintain minimum CEUs to maintain ARRT registration in Mammography.
• ARRT Registered with advanced registration in Mammography.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• 3+ years of Mammography Department/Clinic operations experience.
