Responsibilities
- Ensure proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Make nursing diagnoses that serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
- Collaborate with the resident and members of the healthcare team.
- Record the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
- Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and all tasks are performed.
- Follow all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility.
- Follow procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved LVN or RN program in the state of practice or holds a multi-state license.
- Prefer two years of experience in long-term care but will work with new graduates.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.
