We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on 12-hour shifts (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM). This is a full-time role with benefits available for eligible employees.
About the role
We are establishing a culture that meets the needs of residents and staff, with many of us speaking Navajo and Spanish. Our facility takes a family approach, offering a rich cultural menu embedded in fun activities between employees and residents. This role involves resident care and directing nursing staff in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Make nursing diagnoses to serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
- Collaborate with the resident and members of the healthcare team.
- Record the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.
- Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and all tasks comply with state, government, and facility safety procedures.
- Follow procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but not required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.
