RN LTAC Registered Nurse Traveler

About the role

Facility Type: Long Term Acute Care. Unlike working for agency after agency, with our travel program, you get to work for a company: work with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment; local and non‑local positions are available. Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
• Provides direct care along with delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrates clinical competence; manages patient care; improves quality of care; establishes professional relationships and utilizes professional skills.
• Fulfills responsibilities of the role of the hospital and develops clinical expertise per specialty.
• Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Registered Nurse required (may vary by client and setting).
• Recent acute care experience required; LTAC experience preferred.
• ICU, Med Surg and Telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra Travels‑approved vendor required (AHA preferred and required by some clients).
• Additional certifications may be required by some clients.
• Compliance with federal and state vaccination, vaccination offerings, and disease screening requirements (state‑specific variations may apply).
