RN/LPN - PRN Days

About the role

Givens Highland Farms is a premier nonprofit life plan community in Black Mountain, NC, seeking a PRN (under 20 hours per week) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their health care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plans
• Be accountable for administration of drugs and therapeutic procedures as prescribed by medical staff
• Respond to emergency calls in the community
• Demonstrate ability to deal effectively with complex assignments and organize resident care routines at a proficient level
• Cookordinate unit routines, provide guidance to staff and orient new staff
• Communicate pertinent information regarding residents and relay information in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements

• An unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the State of North Carolina
• Two years in long term care or with the geriatric population is preferred
• Must possess public relations skills, demonstrate initiative and be capable of working without direct supervision
• Maintain confidentiality of information in compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Compensation is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour for LPNs, and $34.00 - $39.00 per hour for RNs, based on experience + $3 for LPN PRN and + $4 for RN PRN with shift differential pay
