RN / LPN | Float, Weekends

About the role

Holland Home is seeking an RN/LPN to join its Staffing Resources team, providing float coverage on two campuses in Grand Rapids and the Faith Hospice residence (Trillium Woods). The position fills open shifts averaging 24–32 hours per week, primarily on weekends and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Float between units and facilities as needed, covering open shifts on two campuses and the Faith Hospice residence.
• Provide nursing care on 3rd shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am) and on weekends, averaging 24–32 hours per week.
• Maintain excellent nurse‑to‑patient ratios and manageable workloads.
• Travel within the Holland Home system using reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Reliable transportation for floating between locations.

Schedule

3rd shift (10:30 pm–7:00 am). Average 24–32 hours per week. Weekend coverage required. Choose a holiday rotation; only two holidays required per year (e.g., July 4 & Thanksgiving, Memorial Day & Christmas, Labor Day & New Years).

Pay

• Competitive premium pay rates.
• $2.00 weekend shift differential.
• $1.50 differential for 2nd shift.
• $1.25 differential for 3rd shift.
• Options for overtime or picking up additional shifts.
• Double pay for holidays worked or 8 hours of pay on holidays not scheduled.
