RN/LPN

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities related to RN delegation of nursing tasks
• Conducts continuing education and training for health services employees and other employees as necessary
• Assists with the initial screening of residents or delegates appropriately
• Makes sure physician orders and laboratory results are correctly implemented
• Makes sure alert charting is monitored, ensuring appropriate employee responses and needing an RN assessment when necessary
• Makes sure consulting pharmacy reports are monitored and addressed
• Makes sure resident incident reports are addressed
• Advises health services employees concerning resident health issues
• Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual issues
• Helps develop service plans, making sure health service issues and other service issues impacting health are effectively addressed
• Attends service plan meetings as necessary
• Makes sure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services is performed
• Performs all new resident assessments

Qualifications

• RN/LPN License
• Loves for seniors and the ability to put residents first
• Organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines
• Good judgment and professional maturity
• Strong computer skills
• Successful employee management experience
