About the role

NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking a Nurse Supervisor, RN / LPN to oversee staffing, admissions, discharges, education, tours to prospective residents, address family/resident concerns, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Health- Ability to meet performance requirements.
• Education and Training: Preferred graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN, ASN).
• Licensed to practice in this state.
• Participates in continuing education to stay updated on nursing trends and maintain current licensure requirements.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• Preferred Ventilator Unit/Critical care/Special Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates work performance of nursing staff.
• Makes sure policies and procedures are followed in the care provided.
• Carry out disciplinary actions as outlined in personnel policies.
• Completes admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as needed.
• Maintains resident lab schedules and follows up on results.
• Monitors 24-hour report sheets and takes appropriate action.
