About the role
Walnut Ridge Clinic is looking for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to join our team. We are seeking a full-time skilled Clinic Nurse (LPN/RN) to review upcoming patient appointments and medical records, ensuring charts are complete and providers have the information they need before each visit.

Responsibilities
- Review patient appointments and medical records to ensure completeness and provider readiness.
- Identify care gaps, preventive health needs, screenings, labs, referrals, follow-up needs, medications, diagnoses, and recent test results.
- Organize pertinent clinical information for providers.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and providers, offering support during patient visits as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical workflows and organizational policies.
- Ensure patient information remains confidential and HIPAA compliant.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license.
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced clinical environment preferred.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Marijuana card prohibited per Act 593.
- Facial piercings not allowed.
