RN/LPN- 3rd Shift

About the role

Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Staff Nurses to join their team of dedicated health care professionals. Applicants must have an unrestricted RN or LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Care for residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents, notifying physicians of changes and implementing new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition and prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a care plan.

Requirements

Patience, compassion, and a desire to care for residents in a gentle and empathetic manner are essential qualities for this position.

Qualifications

Unrestricted RN or LPN license is required.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient care are beneficial.
