PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care team in Ketchikan, Alaska. Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Document care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes
  • Delegate care appropriately based on team members' education, credentials, and competencies
  • Support patients and their families through compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing education

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience as a Staff Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Specialty certification
  • Experience in geriatric and/or rehabilitation nursing

Pay

Salary range: $44.77 - $71.09 per hour. Hiring bonus and relocation assistance available.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple openings may be available.
