RN Local/Internal Traveler - PACU

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit

Qualifications

• Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration
• Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of one year of PACU nursing experience required
• Certified to read and interpret basic telemetry strips
• Competent in floating to other like-units for patient assignments
• Experience with PC-based applications
• Epic experience preferred
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or signed a statement certifying exemption due to medical or personal reasons

Pay

USD $70.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
