Travel Nurse - RN - PACU

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' post-anesthesia condition and monitor vital signs and recovery progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, respond to emergencies, and document care activities accurately.
• Develop and deliver patient and family education, including discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare providers for comprehensive post-operative care.
• Operate PACU equipment such as ventilators and monitors, and participate in handoff communications.

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent PACU RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or ENPC preferred.
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and assist patients, with strong attention to safety and detail.
• Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and ability to work under pressure.
