Job Summary
Join Memorial Health University Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, as a PRN RN Lactation Consultant. This role involves designing, delivering, and continuously improving nurse residency and onboarding programs to enhance clinical outcomes and support retention.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant within 1 year of employment start date
Registered Nurse degree
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and evaluate nurse residency and onboarding programs
Develop and manage competency pathways, assessments, and learning plans
Integrate evidence-based practice, simulation, and quality improvement into curricula
Ensure program compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements
Partner with clinical leaders, CPDE/MCPD, and care teams
Support operational success through budget participation, resource stewardship, flexible scheduling, and emergency/command center support
Advocate for professional growth through certification support, mentorship opportunities, and career development
