About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegates patient care tasks to other patient care staff.
• Supervises other patient care staff in providing care to assigned patients.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients.
• Consults with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current West Virginia RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
