Nights, Full Time, 36 hours per week at Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd Labor & Birth.

About the role

We are a high‑paced, high‑energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother‑Baby, Well Newborn Care, and Post Women’s Surgical care. Nurses maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department, and may float between these departments based on patient care needs. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and the second leading in the Ministry, offering a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family Women’s Center.

• 40 Mother‑Baby rooms
• 15 LDR rooms
• 14 High‑Risk Antepartum beds
• 8‑bed OB Emergency Department
• 4 LIBC Birthing Suites
• 4 Pre/Post Rooms
• 3 OR suites (staff circulate all cases)
• Full‑time Lactation Consultants serving inpatients and outpatients

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Physical requirements: Regularly push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire; additional certifications may be required based on unit/position with department‑specified timeframes
