RN - Labor and Delivery (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview: This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients or groups of patients, adhering to established standards and the nursing process. It requires supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and discretion. Key Responsibilities Assessing patient data, analyzing health information, and developing care plans to achieve desired outcomes.Implementing care strategies, coordinating service delivery, and promoting a safe, healing environment.Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and providing health education.Participating in discharge planning and delegating tasks appropriately within the healthcare team.Performing additional duties as assigned to support patient care and safety. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the practice state.Required certifications include BLS, ACLS or ARC-ALS, and NRP or ARC-NALS, with fetal heart monitoring certification also necessary.Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and experience in acute care settings.Strong critical thinking, communication, and supervisory skills are essential. Additional Requirements: Compliance with vaccination policies, participation in E-Verify, and adherence to organizational safety standards are mandatory.
